Automated Check In 24/7

Automated check in allows you to check in and come and go as you please. No keys are necessary. You access your chalet with a personalized door code. You don't have to schedule a time to meet someone or drop a key off somewhere when you leave. If you need help, we are right around the corner and can assist you within minutes. Check in time at most of our chalets is 4pm and check out time is 11am. We will work with you if you need to come in early or need a little extra time to leave. Keep in mind that we have to clean the chalets for the next guests so depending on our calendar and our cleaner's schedule, we may not be able to accomodate you.

Amenities That You Expect

All of our cabins have high-speed internet access with Wi-Fi. Each room has large Smart TV Technology that allows you to watch Netflix, HuLu, Amazon, or other streaming content. Our cabins offer DirecTV with a full lineup of sports and cabile channels. Most TV's have an available HDMI connection that allows you to bring your own Game Console or Streaming Device.

Every cabin has a private outdoor hot tub. Access to all of the Chalet Village Culb Houses and swimming pools is included for free with the rental. Note: pools are only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Each cabin includes at least one wood burning fireplace.

All cabins have a gas barbque grill.

Houses - not condos or motel rooms

All of our chalets are stand alone houses. They were designed and built as vacation properties in the 60's and provide plenty of living space. Located in the Chalet Village Resort Community, these houses were some of the first vacation properties built in Gatlinburg so they have large lots with good privacy. Before we put them on the rental program, we renovate our chalets to provide the comfort and amenities you expect in a vacation rental. All of our chalets are licensed by the City of Gatlinburg for overnight rental and are inspected yearly by the city for safety and construction issues. There are plenty of trees around and it's pretty common to see wildlife such as bears, turkeys, bobcats, and owls if you look for them.

Pet Friendly

All of our chalets are pet friendly. Bring you dogs and let them enjoy the experience.
We do have an additional $25.00 cleaning fee for pets. This is a one time non-refundable fee. Please let us know if you are bring your pets so we can alert our cleaners and give you an accurate quote.
It is very important to realize that our chalets are locted adjecent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is very common to see black bears around. Do not leave you dogs outside. Interactions between bears and dogs usually don't end well for the dogs. We recommend that you keep your dogs in the cabin. If you leave your dogs alone in the cabin, please us a portable kennel. When dogs hear or smell bears outside, they can do do serious damage to the chalet trying to get out. You are responsible for any damage done to the chalet by your pets.

We live here

Luzerne Lodge is a small family business that rents and manages our own preperties. We have personally renovated most of our houses and take a great deal of pride in what we have created.
We live on the mountain near the cabins so we are able to keep them maintained and up to our standards. We are usually able to respond to any issues within minutes. A lot of the owners of the "by owner" rental cabins live hours away from the cabins. If something goes wrong it may take hours for them to find someone to take a look at it. They may only visit their cabin one or two times a year. We are are constantly inspecting our cabins and making sure everything is clean and in working order.
